Introduction #
Each showcase that is presented here, shows functionality that is provided by CiviCRM in combination with other systems. The site intends to show examples of how CiviCRM can support organisations when reaching out to their constituents, try to engage or activate constituents or raise funds to continue aiming for their goals.
The videos on the use case pages, show functionality from different perspectives:
- the constituent / visitor of your website
- the organisation’s staff member
- a manager
For all use cases, we’ve created separate pages to explain how that particular use case was set up and configured or provided links to places where the setup is explained.
The “Fundraising” Use Case #
For many organisations, fundraising on different levels is vital. To get visitors of your website to donate or to get conversion through newsletters and specific campaigns is usually part of the strategy. In this use case, Save the Forest has started a basic “Donate Now” page with options for direct debit – SEPA in the EU and some online payment options that payment processor Mollie offers.
From the constituent’s perspective #
The video shows what a potential donor gets to see and do when submitting a donation and the confirmation email that the donor gets after the donation.
From the Staff member’s perspective #
The video gives an impression of what a fundraising staff member would find in CiviCRM when checking incoming donations in CiviCRM.
From a Manager’s perspective #
The video shows a number of overviews and reports providing data on donations that have come in and options to either print or export data.
